I was excited .No .No .Not excited .Excited is an understatement . Understatement why? why not ? someone was coming to ask for my hand in marriage because marriages are meant that I get to wear new clothes ,new jewellery ,eat good food ,also no more work ,no more the maa's taunt no more bhaiya's schooling and finally free from this house.

where on every single thing my mother tells me to wait for my husband whether it has to be that I want to roam around the village and play around maa says get married then with your husband you roam wherever you want to roam around he will take you out he will show you around the world when you get married. so to me marriages are meant freedom not some bound or something that will cage me . she says he will come and take me with him with him in is beautiful life where I would not have to ask anyone where to go, how to speak and how to behave he will love me and cherish me .

I was thinking all this when bhabhisaa enter my room she said" baisa aap taiyaar nhi huye wo log aate hoge "

" dear you didn't get ready they'll come soon"

I got excited and ask her "what should I wear should I wear this pink one with flowers or the blue one with Little stars tell me" as a smile was plastered on my face. I think she saw my excitement as she started laughing and said" where whatever you like you will look like a princess like you always do "

after saying so she left my room as my mother called her for preparing pleasantries and decor the house for my would be husband and his family.

as I got ready in the blue poshak my brother gifted me on this Navratri I felt myself smiling excited for what lay ahead for me I wore matching bangles which had small twinkling bells attached with it chimmed h whenever I moved my hands . I also wore my anklets which my father gifted me for my 10th birthday. and just as I was ready bhabhisa came and ask me to come out as they have come.

she was leading me through the backyard to the guest room, fixing my veil on head simultaneously when she told me how to behave how to serve them team how not to talk infront of them. I listened and then she gave me the tray she was holding and said to go ahead and serve them tea.

I was walking carefully where my father and my future in laws were sitting I served everyone tea but just as I was about serve tea to a young man I stumble because of my veil on my head and dropped the tea on the person infront me.

Arjun's p.o.v

As I woke up today because of my mothers excited voice telling me to wake up because I had to go to my future in laws house well technically me my father and my brother we all will go and see my would be wife and her family somewhere I was never but also little excited as I got ready we settle in my father's jeep and made our way to her house .

well speaking honestly this ride felt more nervous and tough then my examination for army or more challenging then any mission I have gone so far. finally what felt like hours but only 30 minutes we reached her house.

where we were entering her house I saw her for the first time well in real for the first time I saw her photograph before. she looked excited and beautiful she was talking with what seemed like her sister in law and then I was pulled inside by my little brother.

inside I met her brother, father and her mother I greeted them and my father and her father started talking about marriage then before I looked in her direction I heard her bangles and anklets soft chiming sound .

she came looking tiny and beautiful in that blue poshak I was staring at her when she came in front of me to serve me tea but due to her veil or maybe she got nervous the chai's cup tumbled in the tray and it spilled on my crisp white shirt .
